Welcome to the Northern Virginia Kappa Achievement Foundation Website
I am honored to extend to you a warm welcome to this website of the NVKAF.
In today’s society modern information and communication technologies have created
the possibilities for everyone with mobile device to gain access to virtually volumes
of information through the Internet. The Northern Virginia Kappa Achievement
Foundations has established this website to serve as a point of information and contact
exclusively for charitable and educational goals. The NVKAF shall exercise all the powers
conferred upon the Corporation for charitable and educational purposes; including but
not limited to the power to accept donations of money or property, whether real or
personal, or any interest therein, wherever situated.

Established in 2011, as a non-profit, tax exempt, publicly supported organization to
provide scholarships and other financial aid for undergraduate students; or financial
assistance to schools of higher learning. The NVKAF’s central focus is providing
academically oriented services, leadership training, career exposure, and financial
assistance to youth and young adults in Northern Virginia.

The Northern Virginia Kappa Achievement Foundation is exempt from Federal income
tax under section 501(c) (3) of the Code. The Foundation is engaged in finding solutions
for society’s problems in all aspects of life through education and our communities.
I sincerely hope you will contribute to the NVKAF and help us transform the youth of
Northern Virginia and our communities.

Our Mission

The NVKAF is dedicated to improving the lives of young African American Men of Northern Virginia. Our primary mission is to assist them in the pursuit of education in post-secondary institutions through financial support, guidance, and professional training.
